Homebuilders Supervisor (Family Intervention Specialist Supervisor) - Central NC
Your Impact:
The HOMEBUILDERS® Supervisor plays a pivotal role in providing support, supervision, training, development, and oversight to a dedicated team of HOMEBUILDERS® practitioners within the Central NC Region. This position requires travel to community agencies and families' homes, acting as the primary liaison between the HOMEBUILDERS® team and the agency’s management. You will also coordinate with the HOMEBUILDERS® consultant to ensure model fidelity and program implementation. Availability to respond to client and practitioner crises is essential.
Location: Central North Carolina - regional coverage in Guilford, Randolph, Alamance, Orange, Caswell, Person, Chatham and Durham counties.
Schedule: Position requires flexible scheduling, according to agency, Practitioner, and client/family needs. This position will require after-hours on-call support to staff within the team. All referrals and admission, as well as crisis-related phone calls should be returned within 15 minutes.
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Hiring Range: $51,000 - $67,000

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human services or related field required.
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services or related field preferred.
Licensed clinician (full or associate level LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT) preferred.
Minimum of at least 3 years experience providing direct services to children and families.
Previous experience as a supervisor strongly preferred.
Knowledge of and experience working with the NC Child Welfare system is strongly preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight/Operations
Ensure service delivery aligns with HOMEBUILDERS® Standards.
Manage referral inquiries and assignment, ensuring timely family contact.
Serve as primary back-up for practitioners and provide emergency consultation.
Facilitate weekly team consultations and individual practitioner consultations.
Supervise day-to-day operational issues, maintaining staff focus on tasks and goals.
Personnel Management/Supervision/Training
Supervise direct line staff, ensuring adherence to program standards.
Mentor staff, developing Professional Development Plans.
Conduct shadowing opportunities for new staff to ensure quality care.
Participate in and facilitate required HOMEBUILDERS® trainings.
Strategic Planning/Implementation
Lead micro-level implementation and ensure staff meet workflow and process expectations.
Develop and monitor program goals, providing feedback and engaging leadership for performance management.
Plan and organize work for staff, ensuring clear understanding of priorities.
Compliance and Outcome Tracking
Monitor staff compliance with policies and procedures.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into tracking systems.
Regularly staff cases with direct line staff and report needs for additional support.
Working Relationships/Stakeholder Engagement
Foster productive relationships with coworkers, community partners, referral agencies, and clients.
Gather feedback from families and DSS partners post-intervention.
