Field Applications Manager

Enumerix, Inc. has developed a novel, high-fidelity, single-molecule digital PCR platform to enable high-throughput, precise detection and enumeration of nucleic acids, with unprecedented precision, multiplex capability, sensitivity, and simplicity. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Field Applications Manager. The Field Applications Manager is responsible for primary technical support and building and managing the Field Application Science (FAS) team in support of Enumerix’s novel UltraPCR platform in North America and Western Europe. They will work closely with early access customers, providing first-line assay development and analysis software support, as well as first-line troubleshooting of hardware. As the customer base grows, the Field Applications Manager will build and manage an FAS team, transitioning to more managerial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities include:

• First-line user support for assay development, analysis software, and instrument troubleshooting
• Develop training materials for users, and perform on-site customer training
• Customer applications development, including conducting experiments on-site, writing application notes, white papers as well as peer-reviewed publications
• Provide customer feedback to the development organization
• Work in partnership with the commercial organization in support of customer base, providing technical pre-sales support
• Develop and utilize CRM system for customer support
• Present at seminars and conferences
• Build and manage the North American FAS team

Qualifications include:

• Ph.D. in life sciences
• Minimum 5 experience as an FAS and FAS Manager
• Experience in digital PCR and next generation sequencing
• Hands on laboratory experience
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Able to travel 30 - 40%
• Excellent problem-solving skills
