Finance Specialist

This position reports directly to Sr. Manager Product Supply Services. Primary responsibilities include Non-Trade Sales (sales to other bottlers) analysis, maintaining accurate and up-to-date pricing for Non-Trade Sales, managing Accounts Payable for specified vendors, ensuring payments are processed timely, primary point of contact for government surveys, primary point of contact with our third-party utility processor, lead the process for ensuring receipt of recycling credits, provide month-end close support with reporting, accruals, journal entries and analysis. Ah hoc requests as needed.

Non-Trade Sales

• Maintain accurate pricing for Non-Trade Sales
• Collaborate with CCSWB and CCBSS Master Data on innovation and new product launches as it relates to Non-Trade Sales
• Partner with other bottlers within NPSG (North American Product Supply Group) on various pricing and innovation initiatives
• Analyze financial results and communicate trends and forecast to finance leadership
• Generate reporting of a full Non-Trade Sales P&L

Accounts Payable

• Generate reporting and conduct analysis for aged invoices, open PO’s and GRIR
• Follow up and/or providing training or guidance on Accounts Payable
• Partner with CCBSS on AP training. Maintain training decks on various Accounts Payable processes. Educate business partners with training available

Surveys

• Be the main point of contact for all governmental surveys via the survey portal
• Maintain matrix of responsible parties, follow up with the responsible parties for timely completion of surveys
• Submit the surveys via the portal

Utilities

• Be the liaison for the company with the third-party company that receives and pays our facilities’ utility invoices
• Work with the third-party and our CCBSS shared services center to research and resolve any billing issues
• Review utility accounts and determine need to reclass or accrual journal entries. Submit journal entries monthly
• Generate Ad Hoc reporting as needed

Recycling

• Review various G/L accounts and determine need to reclass or accrual journal entries. Submit journal entries monthly
• Generate monthly dashboard reporting
• Partner with Procurement within CCSWB on new recycling initiatives

Month-End Close/Annual Planning

• Generate reporting for Non-Trade Sales results. Communicate to finance leadership
• Generate PO reporting used for various departments within finance
• Review Non-Trade Sales and determine need to reclass or accrual journal entries. Submit journal entries as needed
• Calculate and record raw material usage entries

Financial Analysis

• Develop and/or generate dashboards for PSS HQ Expenses
• Assist with PSS HQ planning
• Research expenses variances versus plan and prior

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years’ experience required.
• 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing finance or cost accounting role preferred.
• Experience with accounting concepts.
• Financial analysis skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with MS Office, particularly in the development of Excel: formulas, Pivot Tables, Macros, Charts; and Power Point.
• Experience with any ERP/MRP (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, etc.) preferred.
• Strong prioritization and time management skills in a dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and effective problem solving.
• Ability to work both independently, on team assignments and cross-functionally.
