Summary-

A leading logistics repair and engineering company serving major telecommunications and cable providers, employs over 11,000 people across 65 U.S. locations and more than 20,000 globally. The Financial Analyst for one of its divisions will manage financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, daily P&L participation, and thorough revenue and expense tracking during GL close. Working closely with the Corporate Controller, the analyst will oversee forecasting, maintain GL accuracy, conduct trend analysis, develop and monitor budgets, and ensure accurate invoicing. This 100% onsite position at the West Chester, PA headquarters is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities-

  • Conduct daily profit and loss forecasting and analysis.
  • Oversee the financial inventory control process.
  • Manage product pricing and budgeting.
  • Supervise and monitor client invoicing, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Build databases and develop queries and calculations for financial reports.
  • Analyse key elements of customer programs, including:
  • 3rd party expense analysis
  • Order activity trends
  • Inventory control
  • Key performance metrics
  • Interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques, providing ongoing reports.
  • Acquire data from various sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Collaborate with management to prioritise business and information needs.
  • Identify and propose new process improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications-

  • Technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Proficient with reporting packages.
  • Strong analytical skills for collecting, organising, analysing, and disseminating information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Skilled in queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix-structured environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and follow-up abilities.
  • B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
  • Over 3 years of experience in a financial role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle, Excel, Access, or other data management tools.
