Financial Operations Analyst | Charlotte Airport (CLT)

The purpose of the Financial Operations Analyst is to use financial and operational analysis to collect and perform financial forecasting; to assist the management teams’ focus on maximizing sales, optimize payroll productivity, to conduct operational and financial analysis in support of development and subtenant activities, and provide financial tracking and support to the platform and airport operations leadership.

Position Requirements

  • Assists in the forecasting/budgeting process to provide timely data and reporting to our business partners.
  • Implements processes and procedures to track company defined financial metrics throughout our direct business as well as subtenant reporting.
  • Partners with platform management to improve performance of every concept through timely reviews.
  • Provides training to platform management to build both financial and business acumen.
  • Ensures the financial integrity of the operations monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Oversees maintenance of internal accounting records and is responsible for preparing timely management reporting.
  • Trains management, leads analysis, and supports inventory preparation and shrink controls.
  • Leads analysis for labor workforce management optimization.
  • Partners with operations management to provide accurate fact-based analysis to support both sales growth and expense reductions.
  • Prepares ad hoc reports and presentations for groups including but not limited to: internal, B2B (business to business), and B2G (business to group) review.
  • Responsible for validating charges and maintaining appropriate logs for the reconciliation of ancillary operating fees (badging, parking, trash, pest control, CDS logistics) and collaborating with accounting for proper and timely subtenant invoicing.

  • Foster and role model an excellent employee experience where quality & engagement are promoted through the store.
  • Create and maintain good working relationships with fellow associates, subtenants, and airport contacts.
  • Where required, be efficient and accurate with receiving, merchandising initiatives, product returns, POS, cash auditing and handling, etc.; identifying and addressing deficiencies with associates, management and LP as applicable in a timely manner.
  • Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

Education, Experience, Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Minimum one year of retail or customer service experience pref
  • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team orientated environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively using the English language.
  • Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and the applicable Department of Transportation requirements.
  • Computer work, heavy lifting (40 lbs.), long standing periods, climbing lifting, bending, nights or weekend work, based in a store or group of stores; early morning, evening and weekend work and holidays.
