The Financial Reporting Manager will prepare financial reports for the company. They will ensure our organization stays in compliance with evolving accounting guidance. They will also support the company with M&A financial activities and manage communication with external financial auditors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare financial reports to meet compliance obligations
Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance, provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare technical memos
Support M&A activity including due diligence and preparation of purchase accounting
Explain variances to budget and report significant issues to management
Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company treatment
Able to assist others with responsibilities
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance
Minimum y years experience at both public and private companies is desirable
Self-starter, needing little or no supervision
Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities
Experience in a regulated products or services business, operating within a multi-site, distributed model
Adaptability to an evolving organizational structure
CPA preferred
Experience in NetSuite preferred
