Job Description

In this position you plan, design, code, develop, test and document embedded software systems in C for software enhancements and new products for industrial process control systems. You apply modern, best practice development techniques and product knowledge toward Research & Development activities. You provide analysis and investigation and resolution of software engineering tasks; participate in the definition of design specifications/parameters; plan, document and carry out software development and testing. You support software modules during Test and Evaluation. You collaborate with other internal organizations such as manufacturing, customer support. You may actively participate in customer facing projects such as beta programs.

Experience/Skills

• 1-3 years of Experience with standard tools for embedded system development (ICE, emulators, debuggers, simulators, Logic analyzer/digital scope).
• Knowledge of Embedded C
• Assembly/In-line Assembly is a plus
• RTOS experience is a strong plus
• Communication Protocols experience with (one or more): TCP/IP, UDP, MODBUS, SPI, I2C, RS485
• Knowledge of ANSI or MISRA C coding standards
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Experience with Agile/Kanban development process.
  
  

The U.S. compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $81,600- $122,400 for candidates located within the U.S. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
