The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of a fleet of vehicles for a company in Waipahu, HI. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing cost-saving measures.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles
Implementing preventative maintenance strategies
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Develop and implement cost-saving measures for the fleet
Manage a team of mechanics
Track and analyze fleet performance metrics
Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient use of vehicles
Manage inventory of parts and supplies
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
Develop and maintain appropriate maintenance files per DOT requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
5+ years of experience managing a fleet of vehicles
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Experience with fleet management software
Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
