Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Fund Manager to lead our investment management team and oversee the management of investment funds. The Fund Manager will be responsible for developing investment strategies, making investment decisions, and ensuring the effective performance of the fund(s) under management. This role requires strong leadership skills, investment expertise, and a proven track record in portfolio management.
Roles And Responsibilities
Develop and implement investment strategies and asset allocation models for the fund(s) under management, considering market conditions, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify investment opportunities across asset classes, sectors, and geographic regions.
Make investment decisions, including security selection, portfolio construction, and trade execution, to achieve performance targets and meet investor expectations.
Monitor portfolio performance, analyzing investment returns, risk metrics, and portfolio composition to optimize investment outcomes.
Manage fund liquidity, cash flow, and redemption requests, ensuring efficient fund operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, fund administrators, and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and performance reports.
Lead and mentor a team of investment professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the investment management team.
Stay informed about market developments, economic trends, and regulatory changes impacting fund management and investment strategies.
Prepare and present investment proposals, performance reports, and presentations to investors, board of directors, and senior management.
Ensure compliance with fund objectives, legal requirements, and industry standards, maintaining integrity and transparency in fund management practices.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree, CFA, or MBA preferred).
Proven experience as a Fund Manager, Portfolio Manager, or similar role with a minimum of 7-10 years in investment management.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and portfolio theory.
Expertise in asset allocation, risk management, and performance evaluation of investment portfolios.
Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and investment research.
Experience with investment management software, financial databases, and portfolio management tools.
Leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team, delegate responsibilities, and inspire high performance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with investors and stakeholders.
