Position: General Liability Claim Representative
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Casualty Adjuster who is interested in joining a growing Excess and Surplus Lines Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of commercial general liability claims with low to moderate damages and complexity. Other responsibilities include participating in department initiatives, working effectively with other departments, and contact with external customers which involves maintaining, developing and influencing relationships with customers and partners.
Responsibilities:
Effectively manage, investigate, evaluate, and negotiate low to moderate General Liability claims to a successful resolution.
Claims include premises liability, habitability, products and completed operations, property damage and bodily injury.
Drafting coverage letters for management review
Managing vendors involved with claim files, ie Independent Adjusters, Defense Attorneys, and Coverage Counsel
Completing Large Loss notices as appropriate
Requirements:
General Liability experience, 5 to 7 years preferred
Experience with E&S and multi-jurisdictional claims
Prior experience directing defense and coverage counsel is a plus
Prior experience with low to moderate coverage issues
Proficient in Word
Maintain high level of integrity and trustworthiness
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
