Job Title: General Sales Manager – Bus Sales

North Central Bus and Equipment (NCBE) has been in the bus industry for over 60 years. NCBE is a division of St. Cloud Industrial Products, Inc. (SCIPI). This position is located at our North Central St. Cloud location. St. Cloud, also known as the Granite City, is home to several parks and attractions highlighting our granite mining history. For example, Quarry Park and Nature Preserve is a 683 acre preserve with 20 former granite quarries and is a great place to swim, scuba, fish, climb, or admire.

Position Description:

As the General Sales Manager, you are responsible for the leadership and development of our bus sales team. We are looking for an established leader who will motivate and support the team in their efforts to drive revenue growth.

This position will be posted until filled with initial candidate review starting July 1, 2024.


Essential Functions

•          Continuously evaluate market conditions to address product line conflicts, optimize the portfolio, and adjust sales strategies

•          Identify growth opportunities into new territories and new product lines for School Bus and Commercial Bus sales through travel and relationship-building

•          Create annual budgets, and implement marketing and sales calendars that align product lines and team goals with company objectives

•          Analyze metrics, manage the sales pipeline, and provide data to the sales team to provide coaching and development opportunities

Required Experience:

•          5+ years of management and sales experience with proven success of achieving sales goals

•          Understanding P&L, budgets, and sales plans

•          2+ years of proven experience developing successful sales planning and marketing strategies


Preferred Experience:

•          7+ years of management experience

•          7+ years of sales experience in Bus or Truck industry

•          Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related field

•          CDL or ability to obtain within first 6 months of employment

This position is located at the North Central Bus and Equipment St. Cloud, MN location. St. Cloud offers a mix of urban amenities and a small-town atmosphere. Located along the Mississippi River, the area boasts picturesque natural landscapes, with nearby parks, trails, and green spaces that provide a scenic backdrop for outdoor adventures.
