Genesys Engineer (Pure Engage)

Visa: GC, USC, EADs

Location: Candidate Must sit in Dallas TX

Duration: long TERM

Key Technical Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Genesys framework and solutions, including Genesys Cloud, PureConnect, and PureEngage
  • Experience with Genesys routing, reporting, and SIP Server integration
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for customization and integration
  • Familiarity with IVR (Interactive Voice Response) development and CTI (Computer Telephony Integration)
  • Understanding of telephony concepts, VoIP, and network architecture
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services for system integration
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain Genesys contact center solutions to meet business requirements
  • Implement and support Genesys applications, including routing strategies, IVR flows, and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Genesys solutions with other business applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Genesys products and integrations
  • Conduct system performance tuning and ensure high availability and disaster recovery of Genesys applications
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and junior engineers
  • Stay updated with the latest Genesys features and technologies, and recommend upgrades and improvements

Required Certifications/Education

  • Genesys certifications (e.g., Genesys Cloud Certified Professional, PureConnect Technical Associate) are highly desirable

Additional Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, working with Genesys technologies
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL framework
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for support outside of standard business hours
