The Quantum Nanophotonics Engineering Technology and System (QNETs) laboratory has several openings in the area of optical and quantum optical devices and systems.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma. As a Graduate Research Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting teaching, research, performing data analysis, and collaborating with faculty members on various projects. Your day-to-day tasks may include literature reviews, data collection, laboratory experiments, data analysis, and preparing research reports.


Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills, Research, and Laboratory Skills in the area of optical and quantum optical devices and systems
  • Experience in conducting research and working in a laboratory setting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with members
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Science or Engineering
  • Experience with optical software (e.g., Lumerical, COMSOL, etc )
  • Data Analysis and Communication skills are a plus
  • TOELF grade
  • GRE is a plus
  • Students with a Master's in Engineering or Physics are highly encouraged to apply.
