The Graphic Design Associate should have skills to design and layout a variety of material from magazines and reports to posters and brochures utilizing Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office.

What You'll Do

  • In support of the Creative Team, coordinate and/or manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understand and enforce the Visual Identity Guidelines for internal and external materials
  • Ensure efficient and effective print and digital design and layout of print and web publications
  • Prepare comprehensive designs and layouts using design elements in photography, illustration, computer-generated imagery, and text for print and digital publications
  • Develop layout concepts for a variety of publications including booklets, one-pagers, ads, social media, and brochures
  • Support and demonstrate IMA’s core values
  • Value and understand the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates

You Should Have

  • Associate's Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a graphic design position required
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Must have experience with Adobe Suite such as InDesign, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and experience using virtual platforms
  • Strong visual arts design skills with experience using industry-standard tools, including Adobe CS software, and content management systems
  • Knowledge of file-sharing platforms such as Box with ability to learn new and emerging communications technology for media
  • Take initiative with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Must be able to learn quickly, demonstrate critical thinking, and make situation-appropriate decisions using sound judgment
  • Ability to liaise effectively with senior management personnel, clients, vendors, and freelancers
  • Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail
