Head of Corporate IT Operations - Remote | WFH

We are a remote-first company, with most positions available for remote work, except for a few roles that require onsite presence in specific locations. Remote employees should be prepared to travel a few times a year for client visits or team meetings.

As a key member of the IT Corporate team, you will manage our internal corporate IT department. This includes overseeing IT systems technology and control structures, managing hardware inventory in the US, Mexico, and overseas, and providing advanced support for Windows and Mac operating systems. Additionally, you will ensure efficient IT support and ticketing procedures.

This role is both technical and leadership-focused. You will be expected to take initiative in addressing issues, designing solutions, and delivering results. Essential Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction for the company's corporate systems.

Set and manage Enterprise IT priorities and provide regular status reports to management and key stakeholders.

Develop cost-effective, innovative solutions to technology challenges across the company.

Develop and maintain departmental system documentation and procedures.

Lead and mentor IT staff, manage the IT helpdesk, and oversee goal setting and performance reviews.

Represent IT to customers, company leadership, and auditors; serve as the primary escalation point for IT needs across the company.

Serve as system administrator for various corporate systems, including Identity Providers, SaaS and on-premise applications, remote desktop environments, and end-user workstations.

Ensure appropriate change management procedures are followed.

Manage hardware inventory including Mac, PC, and office equipment in the US, Mexico, and overseas.

Lead procurement efforts for corporate systems (identifying and selecting vendors, negotiating prices and terms, reviewing contracts, and coordinating required approvals).

Manage the IT budget and find opportunities to optimize spending.

Manage key technology projects including new implementations, upgrades, conversions, and decommissions.

Identify, investigate, and implement new tools, products, and services.

Handle incident and escalation management, particularly for email and phone outages.

Conduct periodic reviews of IT support and ticketing performance.

Work directly with internal risk and compliance teams to ensure adherence to controls and regulatory policies.

Create, grow, train, and manage a high-performance team.

Skills & Experience

3+ years overseeing SaaS or PaaS IT Operations.

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant professional experience and progressively increasing responsibility in IT delivery.

Demonstrated thought leadership and team management skills.

Proficient in IT systems terminology.

Advanced background in ERP.

Experience in data encryption.

Experience with global on-premise cloud compute operations.

Familiarity with ISO-27001, SOX, PCI, SOC-2, HiTrust compliance activities.

Hands-on industry experience with one or more cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform.

Salary & Benefits

Annual Salary: $155,000 - $175,000
