Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Partnerships and Alliances to lead our global cloud partnerships, with a primary focus on AWS. As the Head of Partnerships, you'll play a pivotal role in forging meaningful relationships that propel our business forward and bolster our standing in the marketplace, growing successful partnerships with some of the world's prominent technology companies.

You will be responsible for growing Synechron’s revenue through technology partners by leading the team to jointly develop go-to-market plans, support joint product roadmap development, and establishing senior level relationships with partner stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global strategy for cloud partnerships and alliances, prioritizing AWS.
  • Identify, prioritize, and pursue key partnership opportunities to drive business growth and innovation across multiple regions.

Partnership Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with AWS and other cloud providers worldwide.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global cloud partnerships, ensuring effective communication and alignment with business objectives.

Business Development:

  • Lead efforts to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through global cloud partnerships, especially with AWS.
  • Negotiate and finalize high-value partnership agreements that deliver mutual benefits on an international scale.

Performance Oversight:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of global cloud partnerships, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and KPIs.
  • Implement robust metrics and reporting systems to track partnership success and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment with global cloud partnership strategies.
  • Coordinate joint initiatives and projects with AWS and other cloud partners to maximize business impact across regions.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends and opportunities within the global cloud ecosystem, with a focus on AWS.
  • Stay informed about competitor activities and strategies in the global cloud technology space.


You are:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant technology sector in role focused on developing and managing strategic alliances and partnerships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with technology trends and a deep understanding of the company's products and services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


It would be great if you also had:

  • Extensive experience in the technology or cloud computing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services, solutions, and ecosystem.
  • Previous experience working with international partners and large cloud providers.
  • Proven track record of driving significant business growth through strategic partnerships.
