A key member of the Facilities team, the Health Services Facilities Coordinator supports the long-term physical operations of Central City Concern’s health care facilities. Our health services portfolio is located in the Portland Metro Region, and consists of clinics, pharmacies, mobile, outpatient, and office and program facilities. This key role on the Facilities Team will be responsible for coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs, building inspections, key stakeholder communications, project planning, team work orders, and record-keeping and reporting.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Location: Butte, 610 NW Davis St. Portland, OR 97209

A key member of the Facilities team, the Health Services Facilities Coordinator supports the long-term physical operations of Central City Concern’s health care facilities. Our health services portfolio is located in the Portland Metro Region, and consists of clinics, pharmacies, mobile, outpatient, and office and program facilities. This key role on the Facilities Team will be responsible for coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs, building inspections, key stakeholder communications, project planning, team work orders, and record-keeping and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years trade background, prior facility maintenance and management experience and/or formal trade or technical school in one or more of the major trades.
- Basic understanding of Facility Management practices and standards.
- Intermediate level skill level in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project).
- General experience and understanding of all building trades and equipment that would be found in large complex facilities
- Experience with and understanding of construction drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, specifications and manufacturer’s information
- Preferred working knowledge of landlord tenant law.
- Must generally have the ability to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects, and climb stairs, with reasonable or no accommodation. Ability to travel between properties frequently and quickly, to climb stairs, and walk through units multiple times a day.
- Must possess a current driver’s license, access to a vehicle, pass a DMV background check, be designated an “acceptable” driver as outlined in Central City Concern’s Fleet Safety Policy, maintain vehicle insurance coverage of a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 personal auto liability coverage. Must pass an initial drivers training and continued recertification training.
- Will be required to carry an agency cell phone for work use. Cell phone to be provided by Central City Concern.
- Ability to adhere to Central City Concern’s drug-free workplace which encourages a safe, healthy and productive work environment and strictly complies with the Drug-Free Work Place Ace of 1988. An employee shall not, in the workplace, unlawfully manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess or use a controlled substance or alcohol.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull, and lift heavy objects.

- Assists in communications with internal and external stakeholders regarding health service facility related activities as directed.
- Supports facility management activities to ensure decisions are consistent with existing business plans, initiatives, and operations guidelines.
- Supports facility managers by performing and maintaining building inspection schedules, helping ensure that the operational performance and interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties meet CCC standards.
- Responds to emergent facility repair needs to assess and coordinate solutions in a timely manner.
- Works closely with facilities and community maintenance teams on reconstruction and loss mitigation projects as directed.
- Coordinates and schedules preventative maintenance to ensure maximum longevity of equipment.
- Coordinates and follows through on repairs that are identified and approved during preventative maintenance work.
- Provides support in maintaining documentation of Life Safety Systems/Fire Suppression systems. Works with facility managers to coordinate repairs to ensure properties are compliant with State, Local and Federal fire codes.
- Serves as liaison and on-site resources for contractors and vendors to place service calls and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Provides support by managing in-house work orders and reports in the Yardi software system as directed.
- Supports management staff in the day-to-day operational management of all aspects of the health services portfolio to ensure maximized operations and maintenance.
- Partners with Facilities Manager and Facilities Team on internal and external Capital, Construction and Tenant Improvement Projects and works closely with the Real Estate Development Team.
- Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence related to the work.
- Provide the highest standard of customer service to internal and external stakeholders, including CCC clients, CCC staff, and community members.
- Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and to CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security. Support compliance with all privacy and security requirements pursuant to community partners’ and outside providers’ patient confidentiality agreements, including privacy and security requirements for EMR access. This includes immediately reporting any breach of protected health information or personal identification information of any person receiving CCC services by CCC or an outside provider to the CCC Compliance Department, as well as to your supervisor or their designee.

- Ability to work well with a variety of different individuals both inside and outside of the company.
- Ability to handle multiple complex tasks with minimal supervision while also adhering to policies, procedures and objectives.
- Sufficient organizational skills to develop and maintain files and process reports.
- Ability to express thoughts, perceptions, and ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with a wide variety of people including the general public, merchants, housing authorities, law enforcement personnel, building tenants, program participants and co-workers.
- Knowledge of facility safety, liability, and risk management principles.
