The Enterprise Analytics team is looking for a talented reporting analyst (Healthcare Data Specialist) with an understanding of healthcare economics and statistical reporting tools. In this role, you’ll be participating in quarterly program evaluations, helping to develop and test new analyses and develop new reporting tools.
Preferred qualifications:
Familiarity with SAS (particularly SAS macros)
Proficiency with Tableau
Experience with medical and/or pharmacy data
Note: This is a remote role which will support a Chattanooga, TN-based cross-functional team; ability to meet in-person for training and/or quarterly planning sessions preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Establish and maintain good working relationships throughout the corporation to support department, division and BCBST corporate goals and objectives
Organize and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines among multiple concurrent projects, project teams, and or management staff
Partner with internal customers to define business needs, issues, and translate ideas into effective strategies and action plans for various types of business owners across the company
Develop metrics, execute research designs and reports using business rules and requirements provided by business owners
Job Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree OR Master's Degree with 2+ years of work experience
Experience
4 years - Experience in analytics, reporting and data utilizing industry-standard tools
Skills\Certifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Strong analytical skills with understanding of basic statistics and algebra required
