Job Summary

As a Healthcare Informaticist (HCI), you will play a crucial role in bridging clinical expertise with IT solutions. Collaborating closely with clinicians, providers, and ancillary departments, you will analyze clinical requirements and leverage informatics knowledge to innovate solutions. Responsibilities include:

Providing informatics guidance and acting as a liaison between clinical and IT departments

Analyzing clinical documentation needs, regulations, and standard operating procedures in the EHR environment

Participating in testing, validating solutions, and supporting clinical documentation tools

Mapping current and future state workflows, resolving content issues, and optimizing implementations

Managing relationships with department contacts and offering clinical subject matter expertise

Collaborating with the Informatics team on routine tasks and leading new projects

Job Requirements

Education: Licensure, certificate, or experience in a healthcare-related field

Experience: Preferred 3 years of clinical experience

Skills

Ability to manage ticket requests efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Strong relationship-building skills through purposeful rounding practices

Reviewing and escalating change requests to appropriate clinical and IT groups

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Preferred clinical licensure within 90 days if applicable
