Recruiting Responsibilities: This is not a remote position. The recruiter must work from one of our offices. There will be some travel required.
Perform recruiting activities, including but not limited to, social media recruiting, job board recruiting, networking, job fair attendance and direct sourcing.
Conduct thorough interviews, background investigations and testing required for client assignments to maintain a pool of skilled Talent at all times.
Negotiate Pay Rates
Onboard candidates and prepare for assignments
Manage pool of talent, including hiring, firing, conducting performance evaluations, and counseling for improved job performance
Maintain compliance, including I-9s, backgrounds, drug screening and various federal and state employment laws. Performs all onboarding activity.
Participate in networking opportunities within the community both virtually and in person and develop key centers of influence
Keep up to date with the latest recruitment trends and best practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Recruiting Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (essential).
2 years of experience as a recruiting coordinator or equivalent role (essential).
Knowledge of employment laws, company policies and procedures to make informed decisions regarding placements.
Excellent record-keeping skills.
Fantastic knowledge of recruiting functions and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office and related HR software.
Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
