Position Description

The Senior Developer will perform a variety of administrative and managerial duties related to planning,

organizing, directing, and controlling the day-to-day functions of the applications development function.

They will work under the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Applications Director to

provide general supervision to Programmers, Programmer Analysts, and Systems Analysts. They may

also provide additional guidance to subordinate personnel assigned to specific projects.

discipline, and discharge.

• Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new hires.
• Manage and coordinate daily activities of the applications development staff.
• Establish guidelines, practices, processes, and procedures designed to enhance the efficiency
  
  

and effectiveness of application system functions.

• Develop documentation standards for the applications development group and ensure
  
  

compliance with established standards, guidelines, and performance expectations.

• Resolve complex issues.
• Direct and perform general system maintenance.
• Identify changes or modifications and assign projects to subordinate analysts and programmers.

You'll Bring These Qualficiations

• 5-7 years of Software Development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related Discipline.
