Summary:

The Operations Professional is responsible for supporting the Director of Operations & Treasury and working closely with the other Operations team member in the daily investment operations of the Firm. The ability to collaborate and work on various projects simultaneously are critical as the individual will work closely with all the Firm’s departments, legal, trading, investment staff, IT, accounting, and investor relations.

Responsibilities:

-Involvement of all operational aspects of the Firm including:

• Trade support & settlement for all investments including Equities, Bonds, Options, Loans, Bank debt, FX, and OTC transactions.

• Cash and position reconciliations between OC systems and PBs/Counterparties/Admin

• Collateral management for ISDA counterparties as well as KYC and updating tax withholding docs.

• Daily P&L reconciliation & EOD Performance reporting, Monthly valuation of entire portfolio

• Input/maintenance of internal accounting system (Geneva) including new security setup and bespoke trade/transaction bookings (Reorgs, PIKs, Drawdowns, Interest)

• Security master setup, Attribution reporting, OMS maintenance

• Reviewing daily trade blotter in OMS to ensure proper booking and allocations amongst PBs

• Proxy Voting and Corporate Actions processing

• Prepare reports for Valuation, Risk Committee, & Best Execution meetings

• Commission and soft dollar reporting and streamlining workflow

• Create efficiencies and controls in workflows (trade processing, data aggregation, new reports, valuation, etc.)

• Provide general support to OC Investment Team, Trading, Accounting, Legal/Compliance, IR

• Ability to run with projects and prioritize many different daily tasks simultaneously.

Who are we looking for?

• 3-5 years relevant operations experience
• Good schools, good pedigree, high GPA
• Familiar with data automation using VBA, Power Query, or SQL is a plus
• Experience with Advent Geneva is a plus
