Help Desk Engineer

Northwest Partners is looking to hire an experienced full-time Help Desk Engineer to join its fast growing team.

What YOU Will Do

  • Create and maintain secure computer images for deployment across the organization.
  • Manage and secure Office 365 Intra ID accounts, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues via phone, email, and onsite.
  • Monitor and manage IT security, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities.
  • Install and configure hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, disk drives, network servers, routers, and firewalls.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and relevant questions.
  • Document technical processes and customer interactions in the help desk ticketing system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical details clearly to users.
  • Assist in the configuration and deployment of new systems and applications.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and create instructional materials.

What YOU Will Bring Us

  • Proven experience as a Help Desk Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of creating and maintaining secure computer images.
  • Proficiency in managing Office 365 Intra ID accounts and security.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with IT security practices and protocols.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Windows and Mac OS systems.
  • Knowledge of remote diagnostic techniques and tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft MCDST, Cisco CCENT) preferred.
