AS A HISTOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST you're responsible for screening and diagnosing non-gynecological slides while working under the supervision of the Pathologists and Supervisors while following technical directions. Activities may include accessioning, staining, microscopic screening, and filing of slides (Histology and Cytology). Individual will report all results of all tests performed according to established procedures. Individual will participate fully in all cytology quality control procedures and complies with quality assurance and quality management standards with the department as outlined the department and associated regulatory entities.
Qualifications
Histologic Technologist Certification, required
Must be registered with ASCP or AMT at the time of hire as an HT or HLT or complete registration within two years of start date
