About VNA Home Health
Our Home Health program offers skilled services in the comfort of our patients' private homes under the orders of their private physician. At Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri, we are a non-profit organization dedicated to providing exceptional care to those in need.
Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse with VNA Home Health, you will be responsible for assessing symptoms of diseases and responses to treatment, educating patients and caregivers on care practices, administering medications, performing treatments, providing wound and ostomy care, promoting independence, and communicating changes in patients' health to physicians.
Training
We provide a comprehensive 30-day preceptor/orientation training for all new hires. This training will give you the opportunity to shadow experienced Home Health Team Members, receive hands-on training, and ask questions during patient visits. Additionally, you will receive training on the use of the handheld device used for patient visits.
Position Requirements
Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare institution in the role of an R.N.
