Position Summary:

Assist the Human Resource Office with all employee related tasks.

Representative Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform.

The day-to-day duties required of this position may vary.

Primary Duties

  • Assist the HR Director with all administrative work in the HR office
  • Keep all personnel files current and update the HRIS (Paycom) as needed
  • Assist coordinators with Recruiting, Onboarding, and Payroll as needed
  • Assist with recruitment and interview process, including reference and social media checks
  • Prepare and send offer letters and new hire paperwork.
  • Maintain I-9 documentation for employees
  • Assist with HR audits and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct new employee orientations for faculty and staff
  • Other duties as assigned by the HR Director

  • Overall knowledge of HR functions
  • Quick learner and attention to detail
  • Should have great planning and organizing skills
  • Quality control the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Dependability the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions and responds to management direction
  • Able to maintain high level of confidentiality


Experience, Education, And Certification

  • 1-3 year(s) experience as HR Assistant
  • Certification or Associates degree or perusing education in HR field
