POSITION OVERVIEW: The HR Generalist will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, onboarding, and training employees. This role focuses on building a robust network of skilled employees, ensuring compliance, and facilitating employee integration and continuous development.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Sourcing and Recruiting:
- Develop and implement strategies to source and recruit.
- Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, industry events, and referrals.
- Screen and select candidates based on their qualifications and fit the company’s needs.
- Create and manage a comprehensive onboarding program for various roles within the organization.
- Ensure all necessary documentation (contracts, insurance, certifications) is completed accurately and on time.
- Introduce new employees to company policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on company policies, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Maintain up-to-date records of agreements and other relevant documents.
- Monitor and enforce safety and health regulations.
- Facilitate regular communication to employees, including updates on company policies, project requirements, and industry standards.
- Organize and conduct meetings to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HR systems.
- Generate reports and analyze data related to employee performance, compliance, and satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferable within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
