Human Resources Assistant
The HR Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the HR department, with a specific focus on utilizing ADP Workforce Now for various HR functions. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, employee record maintenance, benefits administration, and assisting with recruitment processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- HRIS Management:
- Maintain and update employee records in ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all HR data.
- Generate reports and assist in data analysis as needed.
- Recruitment Support:
- Post job openings and manage applicant tracking in ADP Workforce Now.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates.
- Assist in onboarding new employees, including the completion of necessary paperwork.
- Benefits Administration:
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll.
- Coordinate with benefits providers and resolve any issues that arise.
- Employee Relations:
- Support HR team in handling employee relations issues and investigations.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- General Administrative Support:
- Assist in preparing HR documents, such as employment contracts and performance reviews.
- Handle routine HR inquiries and direct more complex issues to appropriate personnel.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the HR Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably with experience in ADP Workforce Now.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
