Job Description: The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our HR department by managing recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with state employment laws, and providing general HR support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, a keen understanding of employment regulations, and a passion for helping employees thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Stay up-to-date with state employment laws and ensure company compliance with all regulations.
  • Assist in the administration of payroll, benefits, and employee records.
  • Provide support in employee relations, addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and training programs.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews and development plans.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly desired.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, with a focus on recruiting and employment law compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
