We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This position will initially be remote with a transition to a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and handling communications.
Prepare and process invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and trainings.
Assist the Human Resources Generalist with various HR tasks such as Personnel Action Forms, payroll, new hire onboarding, leave of absence, FMLA, terminations, and status changes.
Ensure accuracy of employee data in HRIS system and maintain monthly reports.
Coordinate employee recognition and rewards programs.
Conduct audits of benefits, reporting, and forms on a monthly basis.
Maintain employee files both electronically and in hard copy.
Support the Human Resources Consultant in scheduling and registering trainings and orientations.
Update and maintain HR websites and documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

Knowledge of Human Resources principles and practices.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Proficiency in commonly used computer applications.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
Education And Experience
High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.
Minimum Of Two Years' Administrative Experience.
Knowledge or skills related to the Human Resources field.
Experience Working With HRIS Or Database Systems Preferred.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Physical Demands: The job may require occasional lifting or carrying of light items and prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Work Environment: Standard office environment.
