The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the full spectrum of HR practices supporting the company. This role will act simultaneously as an employee advocate and trusted business partner to leadership. The Director of Human Resources provides advice and recommendations in all areas of Human Resources related programs, policies, and laws.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create, implement, and interpret human resource policies and procedures covering the employees of the company and its locations nationwide. Ensure that all human resource and employment programs, procedures and systems are legally compliant and consistent with corporate philosophy and policy, consistently applied across all locations, and that they serve the best interest of the organization and its employees.

  • Visit site locations at least on a quarterly basis or as needed to provide HR oversight, guidance, and coaching.
  • Leads and develops site HR Generalist/representatives, including direct supervision, hiring, training and performance management.
  • Manage Human Resources Budget
  • Oversee organization-wide talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage and conduct thorough end-to-end workplace investigations of complex employee-related complaints
  • through consistent application of internal investigations and exit interviews best practices.
  • Manage HR initiatives and provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and
  • management.
  • Oversee the delivery of corporate compliance training. Champion all learning and development activities to
  • ensure effective change management and implementation strategy.
  • Work strategically to diagnose problems, analyze data, identify root causes, and recommend solutions for HR related business issues.
  • Manages compensation planning, performance management and bonus plans for the Company.
  • Build a culture that cultivates talent, enhances learning and development, and inspires the employees.
  • Implement effective HR programs appropriate for both Rotational employees and Local Staff.
  • Ensure HR Operations processes are accomplished with high quality and efficiency.
  • Partner with Corporate Services to deliver business required initiatives and program implementation including, benefits, HRIS tool optimization and payroll.
  • Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent
  • management
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety in compliance with the company’s policies and applicable laws and
  • regulations.
  • Partner with the EHS manager to administer company safety programs and OSHA compliance.
  • Create annual departmental goals and related KPIs. Analyze and report on KPIs and trends related to
  • human capital in the business; leverage data and analytics to provide insights to business efficiencies and
  • key decisions.
  • Partner with HR and process owner in Asia to deliver business required initiatives and program
  • implementation for Global HR Initiatives.
  • Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to travel to various domestic locations as needed. Up to 40% travel
  • Preferably has worked in an environment where there are different shifts
  • Experience working with executives, professionals, technical hourly staff
  • Experience managing HR team
  • Schedule: At first, 100% from the office until fully onboarded, 3 days from the office and 2 days from home once onboarded fully
  • Target Compensation: 180K-190K + 10% Bonus


  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Education Requirement: BA in human resource management, Business Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: At least ten (10) years of relevant work experience in Human Resources with at least five (5) in a managerial role.
  • Any special skills/training/certifications:

o PHR/ SPHR or SHRM-CP /SHRM-SCP certifications preferred.

o Advanced knowledge of HR policies and practices. Knowledgeable in core HR Expertise and

Compliance including employee relations, discrimination, and harassment, recruiting, and hiring,

benefits administration, leaves and disability management, payroll, and records management. o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems applications. information systems

o Strong business acumen and leadership ability

o Excellent written and verbal communications skills

o Experience leading HR functions/teams

o Ability to travel to all locations, which may include air travel and overnight stays.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel: Up to 40% domestic travel
  • Weekend/late night work if applicable: Occasionally as this company has employees working several shifts
