1. $65K- $70K (based on experience)-

Location:

Fully Onsite in Arts District in DTLA

Start/End:

1. 2-3 Interviews and a potential project

Job Description:

OVERVIEW

The Import Production Coordinator would be responsible for managing vendors in the Import cut and sew and accessories production categories. This role works closely with sales, customer service, product development, to buy, track and ship seasonal and at once production orders. This role reports to the Import Production Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Issue and maintain bulk purchase orders to overseas factories to meet requested delivery dates
• · Coordinate MOQ and/or negotiate Production surcharges with key suppliers and stakeholders
• · Manage daily communication with suppliers on bulk production
• · Resolve any issues with suppliers that may impact delivery dates
• · Maintain a work in process (WIP) report on a daily basis that will be shared with all internal departments
• · Vendor Scorecard Reporting for On Time Performance, Fill Rate and Operations Compliance
• · Managing seasonal 3rd party QC program requirements
• · Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

· 2 years import production experience required in textile and apparel industries

· Highly proficient at multi-tasking, prioritizing and decision making in a timely manner

· Must be detail oriented and well organized

· Strength in building cross functional relationships and working within a team environment

· Strong communication skills with international suppliers and freight forwarders

· Proficient in the use of Word, Excel (advanced), ERP (preferably Full Circle) and PLM systems

· Heavy computer work within urgent and demanding deadlines.
