Ariat is looking for a Distribution Engineer Intern who is interested in learning distribution operations and can review performance results within Ariat’s distribution centers. The role will learn how to apply continuous improvement tools and methodology; plan and establish the business's process vision that guides all aspects of process, business systems, and material handling design; and will utilize creative problem-solving skills to drive efficiency in the programs, processes, practices and initiatives needed to fuel the strategy and growth of the distribution function through its people. This position will be fully onsite at our Distribution Center, located in Haslet, TX.

Understanding on-time delivery of commitments through planning, execution, engagement, documentation, and monitoring of project/program work
Learning equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
Utilizing metrics and use data to drive functional excellence and business results by identifying trends and recommending solutions to improve performance, drive efficiency and create continuous improvement
About You
Communication – ability to communicate diplomatically both internally and externally with all levels of the organization
Documentation – ability to create and maintain shared documents that provide clear expectations across the organizations
Project Management – Plan, direct, and organize cross functional customer experience activities
Organization – ensure that all processes and procedures are executed timely, efficiently and accurately.
Currently enrolled in college and pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or MBA degree (recent graduates may be considered)
Self-starter with a passion for learning and is not shy about asking questions
Someone that is agile and can quickly think in the “boots”
Reliable and able to participate in internship activities
Interested in Fashion, Apparel and Footwear and has a desire to learn more about distribution, supply chain and customer service

The salary rate for this position is $15.00 - 20.00 per hour.
The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
