Job Summary

Performs a variety of routine and complex integration tasks related to analytical systems and provides technical support on Yokogawa hardware and software. Responsible for delivering customer satisfaction through integration, design, and implementation of analyzer systems in accordance with customer requirements, accepted industry standards, and Yokogawa standards and procedures. Primary focus is on troubleshooting, repair, software enhancements, hardware enhancements, and modifications, including Instrumentation, sample systems, analyzers, and PLC systems. Gains knowledge and experience on the job.

Duties/Reults

  • Able to integrate analyzer system projects from customer approved drawings.
  • Perform functional testing of completed analyzer system packages. Verifying conformance to customer specification, industry standards, and Yokogawa’s minimum acceptable standards.
  • Analyzes customer needs and provides feedback to operations and sales for additional or expanded service opportunities.
  • Typically supports multiple customers. Able to work independently.
  • Conducts systems operational test.
  • Provides feedback to operations, sales, Technical Support Center and Quality Assurance on system product functionality, service task information necessary to maintain quality and competitive standards.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of National Electrical Code, Yokogawa systems and process products, process control principles; must maintain current knowledge of new technologies.
  • Responsible for care and maintenance of all assigned test equipment as well as maintenance of any other assigned Yokogawa properties.
  • Must be willing to travel for job assignments and work outside the normal eight to five work day/week.
  • Responsible for providing uncompromising quality to all work processes in designated area of responsibility.
  • Able to integrate multiple Yokogawa analyzers and a variety of non-Yokogawa analyzers.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction. Promotes customer confidence in Yokogawa’s products and capabilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SPECIFICATIONS

Education: Vocational School diploma, Associates; degree, equivalent technical courses, or equivalent experience.

Prior Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the integration of electrical systems. Must have knowledge of National Electrical Code as well industrial sampling systems. Exhibits strong communication skills.
