What You Will Do:
We are seeking a Personal Insurance Consultant to support our Hudson Valley Credit Union membership.
Make outbound calls to follow up on referrals and make phone calls necessary to obtain information.
Obtains relevant information based on prospects needs. Input data into agency quoting software program to obtain a variety of price quotes.
Evaluates quote results to determine best product recommendations to service prospect’s needs. Advise and consult with prospect about available products and services, pricing, coverage, and suitability for prospect’s needs. Close the sale with payment if applicable.
Walks the prospect through completion of an insurance application and obtain required supporting documents to bind insurance.
Upon completion and submission of the application and documents by prospect, performs final review of all supporting documents and the insurance application to ensure completeness and accuracy, then submits to selected insurance carrier and turns the completed application packet into agency’s New Business Unit for credit.
The Perfect Match:
High school or equivalent
College degree, preferred
Must have Property and Casualty Insurance license
2+ years of experience with Property & Casualty insurance products
3+ years of Sales experience, preferred
Fluent in English and Spanish, preferred
