Internal Audit Consultant

Our Client, a Global Financial Services Firm is seeking an Internal Audit Consultant in their New York, NY location.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the examination and evaluation of the Firm information technology infrastructure, applications, data use and management, policies, procedures and operational processes against recognized standards or established policies
• Cultivate a deep knowledge of IT Audit programs, industry trends, and regulatory expectations
• Coordinate audit vendors requests by not only communicating with our colleagues but also taking the initiative by helping colleagues on items they don’t have time to give immediate attention to
• Create regulatory track records
• Work with IT to manage vendor fee in the lower end of budget by closely monitoring the hours actual to budget

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• Over 3 years of experience in IT audit services
• CISA certification is a plus
• The ability to operate basic computer functions is essential
• Extensive knowledge of the business policies, procedures and operation of the company
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication skills (both written and oral) and presentation skills that help facilitate interactions with business partners
