Investments Business Data Analyst

Minneapolis, MN– hybrid onsite, 3 days a week – LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

3-6 months with possible extension based on performance.

Skills Required:

  • 2-3+ years in data analysis within finance
  • Must have a strong foundation in accounting (operations, credits, posting to ledger)
  • Must have strong reconciliations.
  • Any experience in regression testing is of interest – will be doing large file comparisons (small/large data files)
  • Ability to write SQL queries
  • Experience with Cusip (Q-sip) is ideal
  • Strong MS Excel experience (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Sorting, etc)
  • Familiarity with investments, bonds and securities is strongly preferred – there is training available
  • Niche and not necessary but bonus (application Sim core)
