Consilio is seeking an IP Product Attorney for a Hybrid (3 in-office, 2 flexible days) contract role based in San Francisco working with our clients Regulatory and Governance team in a 12-month legal counsel role to provide support for dataset reviews and data usage queries. Need someone ready to start ASAP.


Candidate Requirements:

· Identify and advise on legal considerations around data and dataset usage (e.g, IP, licensing, privacy, policy, and governance considerations)

· Review incoming datasets used for client research and products (e.g., datasets use to train and evaluate AI models, conduct experiments and explore, and assist with publications)

· Manage own work, be detail-oriented, and have a no-task-is-too-small mentality

· Nice to haves: Prior in-house legal experience; copyright/privacy/product counsel experience, have a general understanding of machine learning or artificial intelligence

Additional Info:

-Location: Ideally in San Fran but would be open to someone within a 1-hour flight

-Onboarding: Three weeks onboarding on site and training then can be remote/hybrid

-Pay: $115/ hour and up

-Start Date: ASAP

-Required: Ideally in-house experience with AI Product and/or IP experience and Active Bar License, ideally CA licensed

-Experience needed: Copyright, Privacy, Product Counsel, Competition
