Job Title: IT Asset Manager

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and uphold thorough asset management policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and oversee all IT assets from acquisition to retirement.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with asset management policies.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to track IT asset-related documents such as purchase orders and contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to vendor agreements and optimize software license usage.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, including detailed configurations and usage data.
  • Identify opportunities for asset optimization and cost reduction through consolidation, standardization, and retirement.
  • Offer recommendations for asset procurement and retirement based on usage analysis and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure alignment with cybersecurity protocols.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Solid grasp of IT asset management principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience utilizing asset management tools and software.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified IT Asset Manager) are advantageous but not obligatory.
