We are seeking qualified candidates for an IT Asset Manager to support MOREgroup and our brands, which include: E4H Environments for Health Architecture, Huckabee, IEG and TSK.

The IT Asset Manager plays a key role in overseeing and managing the lifecycle of all IT assets within the MOREgroup. This includes procurement, assignment, tracking, the refresh cycles of hardware and software, and the management of licenses and technology service renewals. This position ensures effective management of technology spend and maintains accurate records of all IT assets and assignments to optimize the technological resources of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement process for all IT hardware and software, ensuring strategic purchasing that aligns with company needs and budget constraints.
  • Oversee the assignment and recovery of IT assets to ensure optimal utilization and return on investment.
  • Primary contact and liaison between in-house technology teams, the in-house accounting teams, and vendor contacts.
  • Develop and maintain a lifecycle management program for all IT assets, including timely refreshes and upgrades.
  • Manage version control and software updates in conjunction with key technology team members to ensure all IT systems operate effectively and securely.
  • Handle all aspects of software license assignments and renewals, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Manage the renewal processes for technology services, maintaining continuous service and cost efficiency
  • Responsible for the receiving and accurate entry of purchased IT items into the asset management system.
  • Track general technology spending and produce regular reports on asset status, costs, and lifecycle stages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management or a related field.
  • Experience in managing IT hardware and software, procurement, and budgeting strongly desired.
  • Excellent and diligent data recording and recordkeeping skills mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of IT asset management software and solid familiarity databases reporting.
  • Proficient in procurement and general financial management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with vendors and explain asset management policies to stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork skills, proven ability to work effectively with IT and financial departments.
  • Certifications such as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or similar.
  • Ability to analyze asset utilization and financial data to make informed decisions.
  • Strategic mindset to effectively manage IT assets in line with broader business objectives.
