Kforce has a client in Springfield, MO that is seeking an IT Manager- System Management & Infrastructure for 6-month contract. This role is Onsite 3-4 days per week, hours 8-5 Central. Job Description:
The IT Manager manages multiple IT teams and is responsible for the implementation, management, optimization, and support of applications, systems, infrastructure, and/or development responsibilities for the organization
Provides oversight & guidance of team(s), assigns resources to complete projects, ensures timely resolution of escalated support requests, and responsible for the evaluation and development of staff
Works closely with fellow IT leadership to ensure the needs of the organization are met and sets strategy alongside executive leadership on current and future initiatives
As an IT Manager, you will collaborate with various departments to align technology strategies with business goals
Represent and proxy for IT senior leadership as necessary
Lead and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure and data center environments, ensuring stability, security, and scalability
This role requires a strategic thinker with a technical background capable of managing a team of IT professionals, driving modernization, innovation, and optimization
Encompasses computer, storage, data center, Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure services
Requirements
2-5 years of experience and/or general supervision required
In-depth understanding of IT applications, systems, infrastructure, and operations
Knowledge of process analysis, optimization, and documentation
Proficiency in IT project management methodologies and tools
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skill
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
