Jr Data Analyst/Programmer

ASRC is looking for Jr Data Analyst/Programmer to support the federal contract. The Jr Data Analyst/Programmer must have a strong analytical background with an ability to communicate findings to both business and IT leaders in a way that influences how the organization approaches a business challenge. They are inquisitive and can stare at data and spot trends. Explores and examines data from multiple disparate sources. Ability to create flexible data views that answers questions, doing “what if” analyses, questioning existing assumptions and processes. Communicates and informs conclusions and recommendations across an organization’s leadership structure.

• Experience with and ability to build and maintain automated ETL processes. These processes shall include ETL mappings, scripts, and programs. PowerApps Dataflows or similar.
• Knowledge of data mapping to process data from a variety of sources and the ability to convert data from various sources and formats into standardized fields in a standard format for inclusion into larger repository.
• Ability to transform data with algorithms/scripts/formulas to drive intelligent actions.
• Ability to develop and execute programs/scripts to remove bad data, special characters, and duplicates prior to loading.
• Experience with and ability to develop code to pull data from different sources and load into a structured database that can be used for querying and reporting by the business owners.
• Ability to effectively communicate with business owners and development teams to accurately identify and document data integration between USPTO data sources and designated data repository.
• Ability to work in a remote collaborative environment.
• PowerBI experience is desirable, but equivalent tool experience is acceptable.
• JavaScript, SharePoint, and JSON Experience helpful.
  
  

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Dataverse.
• Knowledge of SQL or other database languages.
• Knowledge and experience working with structured and unstructured data.
• US Citizenship required.
