Junior Accountant/Compensation Administrator
Our client is a rapidly growing firm that has a newly created Junior Accountant/Compensation Administrator opportunity. The role will be responsible for calculating incentive compensations weekly. Excel skills are required and the ability to interact with stakeholders. They are seeking someone with a bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience in analysis and/or accounting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual bonus calculations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual commission calculations
Track and maintain all referral and sign on bonuses and submit for payment
Gather and review all incentive and spiff payments and submit for payment
Perform regular audits and analysis of incentive compensation data to identify and resole any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
Resolve any discrepancies and issues in a timely manner
Identify opportunities to streamline the process and utilize system enhancements
Document standard operating procedures (SOP's) for the function
Collaborate directly with sites and other functional areas for review, approval and issue resolution of variable payouts
Maintain accurate and confidential records of incentive compensation plans, payments, and related documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
1-3 years of analysis and/or accounting experience
Strong Excel skills
