The Role

We are actively searching for a Junior Business Development Executive to join our Pure Fitness team in Springfield VA!

Reporting into our Divisional Manager, the successful Junior Business Development Executive will play a key role in maximising joiner volumes through local activation of bespoke offers targeted at local competition, corporate memberships, local community groups, leaver reactivation and benefit platforms. The role will be measured against joiner volume vs target.

Specifically, the role will have 5 direct channels to own and drive forward in order to achieve the above:

  • Competition switchers: Surveying and offering members from target competitors to switch to Pure Fitness through rich single use offers.
  • Corporate memberships : Working through the target list of companies, building relationships, and offering bespoke membership offers to each company.
  • Local community groups : Meeting with and driving joiner volumes through bespoke offers targeted at pre identified local community groups e.g. sports clubs.
  • Leaver reactivations : Phoning and emailing leavers with winback offers with the objective of maximising reactivations.
  • Benefit Platforms : Onboarding PFUS with key benefit platforms e.g. Silver Sneakers so that we can maximise additional member revenue streams.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have experience across the following capabilities:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent relationship / rapport building skills.
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Self-starting/ Self motivated
  • Results orientated / KPI driven.
  • Energy/ enthusiasm and positivity
  • Driver’s license and access to a car to be able to regularly travel to target locations.

Desirable

  • A proven track record within a fast-paced sales role would be highly desirable but not essential!
