To work cross-functionally across all company departments and product lines to produce cutting-edge product concepts and design solutions with a focus on aesthetics, functionality, ergonomics, and usability
Responsibilities/Duties
Assist with concept generation and evaluation while collaborating with multiple departments
Produce computer models of concept design for presentation, prototyping and production
Responsible for the aesthetic and ergonomic design of new product
Collaborate daily with Research & Development (R&D) Engineering and Product Management teams to develop new products
Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Must Have
Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
Proficiency in sketching and able to clearly communicate ideas
Basic working knowledge of 3D surface modeling with SolidWorks or similar parametric modeling software
Basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and KeyShot
Intermediate mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production processes
Intermediate knowledge of industrial design methods
Constant and keen awareness of latest industrial design trends and manufacturing processes/techniques
Basic model making/shop skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Perferred Skills
Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and/or KeyShot preferred
Lift/push/pull 40 lbs. preferred

Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
