Junior Scientist - Stem Cell Laboratory

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Stem Cell Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic

research team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing stem cell biology technologies

translating into therapeutic applications. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious scientist to

contribute to cutting-edge research and make a meaningful impact on human health.

Onsite: Gillette, WY

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct experiments to explore the properties and behavior of stem cells, including pluripotent and multipotent stem cells
  • Develop and optimize protocols for the isolation, culture, and differentiation of stem cells
  • Investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying stem cell self-renewal, differentiation, and reprogramming
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate the therapeutic potential of stem cell-based approaches for various diseases and conditions
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data using advanced techniques and bioinformatics tools
  • Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in stem cell
  • research
  • Contribute to the preparation of research proposals, publications, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and analyses in accordance with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or equivalent degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • Strong background in Cell & Gene Therapy translational sciences
  • Proven expertise in stem cell culture techniques, including mesenchymal, hematopoietic and umbilical cord stem cells
  • Knowledge of embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) is desired
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qRT-PCR, Western blotting, immunostaining and FACS analysis is required
  • Strong background in cell culturing signaling, growth and differentiation pathways. Cell Culture image analysis
  • Proficiency in data analysis using statistical software and bioinformatics tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated track record of scientific productivity, including publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations
  • Prior experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not required
