Take2 is hiring! We are looking for a customer service-oriented Jr. Software Developer/ Help Desk Specialist to provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner. THIS ROLE IS 100% ONSITE, NOT REMOTE. You will be considered as one of the firm’s front liners, and you will solve technical problems and provide support for all assigned areas. The goal is to make sure that customers are taken care of professionally in a timely manner. This position reports to the Software Product Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
To resolve technical issues on Windows PCs and printers through research, debugging, and investigation
To provide support of legacy software applications including modifying such applications
To participate in pre-sale activities and product demonstrations
To receive and answer customer queries regarding issues they may be experiencing via phone, e-mail or by web-enabled access
To log incidents and service requests into the call-tracking system
To follow-up with customers in order to ascertain job satisfaction verbally or through e-mail
To keep track of the Incident or Service Request activity to maximize timely completion
To excel with respect to customer service skills and customer’s expectations
To perform related additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree in related field; bachelor’s degree in computer science or in a related field is preferred.
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Good knowledge of one or more of the following languages: C, C++, or Java
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the field of programming
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Advanced computer troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
Skills and Abilities (Preferred, but not required):
Light project management
C#, TypeScript, Python, XML, and/or other programming language(s)
Strong communication verbal and written skills
Quick learner, and able to work and research independently
Ability to work in both collaborative team and/or independent environments
Knowledge of printing concepts
