As a Kitchen Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth operations in the kitchen. Duties:
Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
Support the culinary team during banquet events by setting up stations, replenishing food items, and assisting with plating
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
At least High School Diploma/GED.
Must have FoodHandler/ServSafe Certificate
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
