Job Description

Teledyne Technologies provides skilled trades services to major corporations in North America. We specialize in research and development, manufacturing operations, plant shut downs and building maintenance.

Our skilled trades include Tool and Die Makers, Instrumentation, Multi-Craft , Machinists, Pipe-fitters, Carpenters, Electricians, Work Coordinators, EH&S, Welders, Pipe Insulators, Carpenters, Preventative Maintenance Technicians , Planners, Glass Blowers and others.

Requirements

• strong knowledge in calibrating instruments of flow
• pressure and level transmitters
• thermocouples
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Troubleshoot and repair instruments and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate with focal point Process Control Technologist
• temperature controllers
• troubleshooting 480v and below
• repair 480v and below
• workable knowledge of test meters
• Install, calibrate, maintain industrial control system
• Install wiring based on code requirements
• Analytical equipment troubleshooting/design and build
• heaters
  
  

NCCER Certification Required

• Preferred five years of experience in instrumentation and electrical, including experience in installing, calibrating, maintaining and repairing equipment
• Demonstrated use and understanding of physical standards of mass, temperature flow and pressure.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Required ability to be able to read and work from blueprints, schematic diagrams and specification manuals.
• Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance
• Must be able to work with various researchers in different locations
• Must have data base experience with record keeping and documentation accuracy
• Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment
• Must have electrical experience with Contacts, Mods, ABB Drives and relays
• Must have panel building experience
• Must have an understanding of regulatory and compliance regulations
