Lean Specialist - Human Resources

We are on an exciting journey and looking for a Lean operations-minded Human Resources leader to join our organization.
The Role:
- Provide Human Resources team members at our manufacturing sites across the U.S. with the training and tools to become operations-minded HR Leaders
- Apply your knowledge of Lean principles to drive continuous improvement efforts to transform Human Resources across our organization
- Perform internal consulting, lead workshops, conduct Kaizen events, and lead training to reveal the benefits of lean manufacturing
- Develop standards and serve as a program manager - Lead assessments, performing plant wide systematic reviews and audits to develop standards in the workplace
- Responsible for creating job instructions in the form of standardized work, HR systems including hiring and assessment, people involvement programs, and continuous improvements programs
- Collect benchmarking information, performing analysis and make recommendations to improve the competitive position of the organization by creating lean standards.
- Develop core competencies and HR staff evaluations
- Develop systems to launch worldwide best practices to establish a global lean manufacturing curriculum for Human Resources
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience leading HR and/or site Operations in a larger manufacturing site
- Direct experience applying Lean principles to HR processes such as HR operations, employee engagement, onboarding, training, recruitment, and performance management
- Experience leading Kaizen events focused on streamlining HR processes, improving employee engagement, and enhancing overall efficiency
- Experience developing and driving Continuous Improvement efforts within a large manufacturing site
- Expertise in managing change initiatives within HR, including rolling out new HR systems, policies/procedures, and cultural shifts
- Strong knowledge of overall operations – the how and why of the operations and the financial implications when issues arise
- Demonstrated strength leading teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving corporate strategy alignment with business goals
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments, articulate HR strategies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
